Somerton - Beds - 140B - The subtle wood grains and suggestive lines of the Runway Wood Sleigh Bed create a pleasant sensation of static movement that instantly enlivens any room. The top and frame are veneer-wrapped over hardwood edges with a membrane press allowing the character of the veneer pattern to continue over the edgework like a waterfall.
Veneer lay ups are bold and expressive using rich primavera as the primary veneer. The legs are softly coved or scooped with rolled edges on all four sides and then tapered to the floor. The satiny medium to dark brown stain is well blended into the primavera grain work.
